Mazda Motor Corporation (originally known as Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd), is an automobile manufacturing company established in 1920. Although the company didn’t officially adopt its present name of Mazda until 1984, automobiles previously produced by the company always bore the Mazda brand and logo. The Mazda company introduced its first line of automobiles in 1960, with the Mazda R360. Before that, the company was fundamentally known for the production of its autorickshaws (open three-wheeled trucks), releasing their first Mazdago in 1931.
Eighty years later, Mazda was ranked in 2011 as the fifteenth largest automotive manufacturing company in the world based on terms of production. In 2015, the two companies Toyota and Mazda signed an agreement together, forming a long-term partnership with one another in order to share, combine, and advance their gasoline systems and diesel engine technologies.
